How to run a presentation
A guide for presenters, from start to finish.
This covers everything you need: signing in, starting a presentation, letting people in, showing a video or slides, using the chat, and checking who attended. You do not need to install anything. It all happens in your web browser.
Before you start
- A computer, tablet or phone with a web browser.
- Your Stantri Capital account — the same one you already use.
- For video and sound, allow your browser to use the camera and microphone when it asks.
A computer or laptop is easiest for presenting. A phone works well for watching.
Step 1 — Sign in
- 1 Go to leadersplatform.online/present
- 2 You are taken to Stantri Capital to sign in. Use your usual account.
- 3 You arrive at your Presenter workspace . This is your home page.
Step 2 — Create a presentation
- 1 On your workspace, find Create a presentation .
- 2 Type a Title — whatever you want to call it.
- 3 Press Create .
It appears under Your presentations marked Scheduled . Nobody can join yet, so you can set this up days in advance.
Step 3 — Start it, and give out the room code
- 1 Next to your presentation, press Start .
- 2 It changes to Live now and a Room code appears — 12 letters and numbers.
- 3 Send that code to the people you invited.
Tell them: “Go to leadersplatform.online and type in this code.”
Step 4 — Open the room
Press Open room . You now have three controls:
- Unmute
- Turns your microphone on so people can hear you. Press again to mute.
- Camera
- Turns your camera on so people can see you. Press again to turn it off.
- Share screen
- Shows what is on your screen. Your browser asks which window to share.
The first time, your browser asks permission to use the camera and microphone. Choose Allow . If you pressed Block by mistake, look for the small camera icon in the address bar to change it.
Step 5 — Show a video or slides
Under Show a file to the room :
- 1 Pick a file from File to show , or from Or show a Field Support file .
- 2 Press Show to room .
- 3 The file fills the main screen for everyone. You stay visible in a small corner picture, and your voice keeps going.
- 4 For a video, use the player controls to play and pause. Everyone follows you.
- 5 For slides or a document, use Previous page and Next page .
- 6 When you have finished, press Stop showing . The room returns to your camera.
A large video can take a few moments to start the first time. After that it plays smoothly.
Step 6 — Chat with the room
On a computer the chat sits beside the presentation. On a phone, press the gold Chat button in the bottom corner, and Close when you are done.
- Everyone in the room sees every message, with the sender’s name.
- You can delete any message.
- You can turn off chat for one guest if they cause a problem. Nobody else is affected.
Step 7 — End the presentation
Press End presentation in the room, or End on your workspace. Everyone is disconnected and the room code stops working.
Step 8 — Check who attended
On your workspace, press Attendance next to any presentation that has started. For every person who joined you will see:
- Their name and the email they gave.
- Their IP address.
- How long they were in the room.
Time in the room is measured by the media server, not by their page, so a closed laptop lid or lost signal is still counted correctly. You can download the list as a spreadsheet.
The report also tells you whether at least 25 people stayed for 20 minutes or more. That is shown for your information only. The platform does not pay anyone and does not decide anything — it reports what happened.
Your library
Press Your content library to upload your own videos, slides and documents. A file is prepared after it uploads and shows as ready when you can use it. Files you upload here stay on the Leaders Platform. Field Support files come from the main Stantri system and are listed separately.
What your guests see
It helps to know their side, because they will ask you.
- 1 They go to leadersplatform.online and type the room code.
- 2 They give a name and an email address. No account, no password.
- 3 They join, and can see you and hear you.
Guests start muted and stay muted until they choose to unmute. Their camera is never used — they cannot be seen, only heard if they unmute. They see only your video, never each other’s.
Your referral link is shown to your guests while they are in the room, so anyone who wants to sign up can do it from there.
If something does not look right
- A gold button saying “Tap here to turn on the sound”
- Normal on phones and tablets. Tap it, or tap anywhere on the page. Phones need one tap before they will play sound.
- A guest cannot hear you
- Check your Unmute button — you may still be muted. Then ask them to tap the gold button on their screen.
- A guest cannot see you
- Check your Camera is on. If you are showing a file, your picture moves to the small corner view, which is correct.
- The video seems stuck
- Check whether it is paused — guests see “The presenter has paused the video”. Press play and it starts for everyone.
- “The room is not open”
- Go to your workspace and press Open room again. It reopens and your room code keeps working, so guests do not need a new one.
- A guest cannot get in
- Check the presentation says Live now — a code only works while you are live. Then check they typed all 12 characters.

Privacy, so you can answer questions
Guests are told on the page before they join exactly what is recorded: their name, the email they type, and their IP address. Their email is not verified — no confirmation message is ever sent — so treat it as what they typed, not as proof. IP addresses are stored encrypted and are visible only to you and an administrator. Chat messages and IP addresses are kept for 180 days.
If anything here does not match what you see on screen, trust the screen and say so — this page will be corrected.
